2024 - The Year of Karma, Power & the Dragon

In numerology, the year 2024 reduces down to the number 8 (2+0+2+4=8) which means this year we are in the energy of an ‘8’ year. This is such a powerful & significant year because if there is any one number you should be excited about, it’s the number 8 as 8 stands for power, financial stability & abundance, prosperity & karma.

It’s the year to throw all caution the wind & step into your personal power; whatever dreams, goals or desires you have which have sat stagnant, you are encouraged to speak to the universe & take action on this year. This is literally THE year to charge ahead with full faith in your ability to create, manifest & receive, justly.

I say ‘justly’, because the 8 brings about karma; the seeds we have planted are the fruits we harvest this year. Karma literally means a returning to you of the thoughts, deeds & actions which you set off into the universe. Karma isn’t an imaginary judiciary casting you to suffer your next 3 lifetimes because you killed a moth in this lifetime, it is more like the vending machine of life & what you put into this machine, you should expect to come out for you.

To explain it simply, have you put into the machine & with good intentions (pure heartedness) the correct coins (integrity) & made an appropriate selection (effort) from the buttons on the machine? Or have you tried to deceive the machine by inserting a few metal buttons (dishonesty), punched at the selection buttons (manipulation) & tipped the machine on its side (theft) to get what you wanted?

Just remember there’s CCTV everywhere (the universe) & your intentions (the purity of your heart) are always candidly recorded to ensure you receive the product of your desires from the vending machine (life) that matches your actions & intentions (karma).

But karma isn’t a law, as such. A law is a set of rules in place that we must follow because they are aligned with what are legally ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ things to do. If we break those laws, we face punishment by the judicial system of our jurisdiction.

The ‘laws’ of karma are different, they may have witnessed you place some old metal buttons in the vending machine when you were starving & had no food for days, in this case karma asks, ‘who allowed this person to go without food?’ rather than ‘why did this person steal?’ because karma knows that doing the wrong thing by judicial law is not always doing the wrong thing by moral & universal laws. There is a vast difference between the two.

Universal laws deal with what is in your heart & intentions, when you stole.
What pain you carried in your heart when you lashed out?
What were you carrying in shame when you lied?
Which monsters were you running from when you trampled another?
Who stole from you before you went hungry?
Who tied the noose from which you were hung?
Who wounded you with the knife that you are brandishing?

So this year, my friend, is the year you meet your karma. We all do, justly & righteously.

I say ‘righteously’ because not only is this year represented by the powerful & prosperous number 8, but it is also represented in Chinese astrology by the most powerful, most prosperous, most harmonious & righteous of all creatures, the dragon (commencing from 10^th Feb 2024 – 28^th Jan 2025).

So, what we have is a significantly powerful & prosperous year with reward & retribution being divinely distributed by a powerful & righteous dragon. With this powerful & auspicious alignment at play for 2024, this year will be JUST THE BEGINNING of quite a positive turn of events, for the righteous, at least.

Is that a Revolution I hear?

This will be the year when we see the changing of the guards & the dismantling of hierarchal regimes.
The ‘mighty’ fall, with many required to publicly face the music for past wrongdoings.
This year we see hidden information come to light, the conspiracy becomes reality.
In this year we will see justice served, where injustice has previously held power.
We will see people in leadership exposed for corruption, manipulation & theft.
We will see the demise of the celebrity ‘monarchy’.
We will see the scales of justice tipped in the right direction & in a big way.
We will see fake relationships implode & fakery exposed.
We will see the financial collapse of large corporations, big players will no longer have the scruples to play.
We will see the truth revealed, people speak out; small fish will speak out & expose big fish.
Personal pain will be spoken aloud, spiritual dues will need to be paid by perpetrators.

The seeds that were planted, this year will grow.
For all the good intentions, for all of those who didn’t believe you & for all of those who judged you, this year balances the scales
For the revenge you never sought, this year returns the parcel to those who never saw retribution.
For all of the effort you put in that was never rewarded, 2024 rewards you.
In small ways, in big ways. In whatever way the universe sees fit & sees just.
Think rewards, status & satisfaction, whatever that means to you.

The previous year 2023 was a lonely year represented by the number 7, which was important for introspection, experiencing & processing grief & loss. It pushed us to go within (literally hermit mode) to process & seek our personal & spiritual truths. We have learned karmic lessons, healed trauma, re-opened wounds & sat with our inner demons until we find our inner light. We sought out the truth & the truth sought us, painfully so.
We were hurt on repeat in 2023.

The year 2024 will be different, we’ll find more unity, community, harmony & balance. We’ll come out of our hermit mode & feel a sense of personal empowerment. This year we own what makes us different & we flaunt it, we speak it & we live it.

This year we won’t accept our boundaries being crossed because we feel empowered to use our voice to ensure harmony is always in balance.

We will speak the ‘I love you’ & we will speak the ‘no thank you’, without a crack in our voice because last year hurt us badly.

We will accept our imperfections with grace & feel empowered by the person we have grown into as a result of our transgressions.

We will stand in our power & no longer accept less than we deserve & the universe will ensure this is so as It is a number 8 year with the righteous dragon as your servant.

This year is the year to make magic happen, in all our fabulous authenticity.

Put forward any personal plans to achieve, this is the year for seeds to bloom & plans to manifest & those goals of yours to come to fruition.

Breathe fire into your dreams, this year you are unstoppable.
